Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies Saved energy is the cleanest energy. Of course, cleaning performance always takes priority. But an increase in energy efficiency often goes hand in hand with an improvement in cleaning performance. Once the energy efficiency potential of a wastewater treatment plant has been realised, the remaining electricity consumption must be replaced by renewable energies. On the generation side, renewable energies are the building block on the path to an energy-neutral wastewater treatment plant. Here it is important to look at the interaction between producers and consumers and to develop intelligent energy management for plant operation. Learn More
Mechanical, Electrical & Process Engineering Our engineers and technicians come from the field. We take on the technical planning of mechanical and electrical engineering for all planning phases, including construction supervision. There is no substitute for experience. Process engineering is at the heart of every modernisation project at wastewater treatment plants. If plants were designed decades ago and the load no longer corresponds to the original assumptions, a simple one-to-one replacement is often not the best solution. If a plant is being redesigned, not only the mechanical and electrical engineering should be considered, but also the treatment process. Learn More
Concepts, Studies and Analyses We have carried out a large number of energy efficiency analyses, potential studies and feasibility studies based on DWA-A 216 or the municipal guidelines (KSI funding) for wastewater and water technology systems. These are often supported by the PROVI ENERGY analysis software. As technical planners, we also support the implementation of the measures. Our particular strength is the combination of process, mechanical and electrical engineering and the use of software developed in-house and customised to the problems encountered in wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
